“Rusty”

Rusty was the top Cairn Terrier back to the 90s in America Canada. He was bred by Sandy and Peggy Beisel and owned by Betty Hyslop. Commissioned by Mrs Peggy Beisel.

Rusty was the winner of the national twice , once from the veterans class. Top cairn during his campaign. Won the breed at Westminster. 8 best in shows in the US and also a Few in Canada with very limited campaigning there. He was also a top producer with offspring winning at nationals.
 

This is my first Cairn Terrier sculpture ever and I really enjoyed the whole process of sculpting him, I love his character shows from the pictures and I think I caught them all into the sculpture.

The stone path base is inspired by working on my backyard garden from this summer , it gives this piece a lot sense of the Country Style, which I think is very matching with this breed.
